Along with the aid of a flying billboard named Bill, they travel through garbage chutes, are chased by spaceships, fight evil baddies and play an exciting game of Stickfish. There are underlying themes of acceptance, love and friendship.
Adam Rex's hilarious cartoons provide the reader with more laughs and insight into this unique world.
