Everything has changed for Elena and even Damon is getting along with everyone, for a change. Even though Elena has moved away from Fell that doesn't mean that she left her past behind her. At Dalcrest College, Elena's new school, students are disappearing from campus and ending up dead. Everyone is suddenly a potential enemy. Elena and her friends hurry to find who the killer is before more end up dead.
Elena and her friends are a really tight knit group and I found that amazing. The ties the characters have to one another is wonderful, they all act like a family rather than friends. The book is well written and flows. It's an easy read and is good with all the twists and turns.
